WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2008, 4:30 PM.
BRR Good afternoon and welcome to Boardroom Radio. Today, we’re talking to David Sweet, Chief Executive Officer at ComTel. Good afternoon, David,
10 thanks for speaking with me today.
CMO Hello, Tom.
BRR David, you’ve announced some excellent results at the market today, what were the main drivers of these results?
15 CMO The main drivers of the results were underlying strong performance of the mobile business which generated just over $6 million EBITDA for the year and contribution from Empowered, which was the organization we acquired in November last year, which was on forecast and delivered $2 million contribution for us which was very pleasing.

BRR And, David, your financials are looking very healthy, how are you performing in terms of cash flow?
CMO Tom, as we announced, we contributed $5.2 million in free cash to reduce our debt over the past twelve months which given where the company is coming
25 from, we think, was an excellent performance and consistent with our philosophy of making sensible acquisitions in our fields of mobile and online media, and also looking at ways we can reduce the debt given the current market conditions.
30 BRR Okay, and finally what’s on the horizon and what should we expect from ComTel in ’09?
CMO ComTel focus in ’09 will be on delivering a stronger position in online and mobile media. We are focused on being a leader in this field. We have the largest permission-based opt-in advertising base in Australia for online, and
35 we are…..differently our first move in the mobile media space including SMS and Video Advertising. So our focus will be on growing this part of our business and really capitalizing on a first move and front runner position.
BRR David, thanks for speaking with me today. Listeners, that was David Sweet,
40 CEO of ComTel. If you have any questions for David or you’d like some more information about this broadcast, please email at brr@brr.com.au. I’m Tom McKay, thanks for listening to Boardroomradio.
