FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2008, 12:00 PM.

BRR    Today on Boardroomradio welcomes the Centrebet Media Chief and Political Analyst, Mr. Neil Evans to discuss the weekend tips. Welcome to

10                    Boardroomradio, Neil.

CIL       Yeah, hello! How are you doing?

            BRR    Neil, exciting weekend.

            CIL       Yes.

15

BRR    We’ve got the NRL Grand Final, Storm versus Manly.

CIL       Yes, it’s a paradise out there for the Panthers this weekend.  The highlight, as

you’ve mentioned the NRL showdown that’s been tip for a long time, Manly  against Melbourne to the second year in a row, and I preside the early money

20                    is very much with the Storm, $2.15 in at $2.10…

            BRR    $2.10

CIL       … and the bets here, they keep coming to Melbourne giving me an impression that plenty of Panthers out there.  I think Manly might be a bit of a

25                    false.  They won 75 out from 170, so…

            BRR    170…

CIL       I’m, sure there’s going to be some big Manly backers as we get close to the

30                    kick off, but certainly the big momentum money wise is all with the Storm at the moment.

BRR    Yes.  Probably not surprise, Sir?

CIL       Yeah, well look it’s been their competition to lose pretty much all season.

35                    Manly had got very nice par through to the grand final, but … and so much I

guess it’s … I said it’s around the farewell to Menzies, but the Melbourne Storm, Croc are going to England, the (inaudible) (00:01:00) are retiring, Folao goes to Brisbane after this.

40        BRR    Yes.

CIL       So they’ve got a few farewell takes to outstay themselves.  So, look you know…I think it will be tight and I think the 1 to 12 options both wise will be very popular (inaudible) (00:01:14)

45        BRR    1 to 12 options?

CIL       Yes, look I’m leaning Melbourne’s way and certainly the value is there.  So, I think for all our listeners.  Now sales, we are going okay at the moment.  We’ll try and keep it going by taking a bet on Melbourne Storm by 1 to 12 which is

paying $3.50 on Centrebet at the moment.

            BRR    $3.50

            CIL       Yeah.

5          BRR    Okay, and what are the conditions forecast anyway?

CIL       Yeah, it should be pretty good.  They might be a bit of running around over the weekend but that will just freshen it up a bit, it’s nice and hard at the moment, so look I think they’ll sort themselves that early. That recent feisty clashes early.  But I think will see eventually a fairly open game at the time,

10                    that 20-minute period settles down a bit, because Melbourne would want to probably throw the ball around and try and score points and see if Manly can match them.  So it should be a nice all contest, anyway.

BRR    Yes, it should be, and we’ve got a dry track at the moment that spring racing

15                    kind of a won this weekend?

CIL       Yes. So you’re meeting the Sydneys…. been waiting for a long time and, boy,  do they need it.  Ten rises on jam packed car of ram, we’re going to watch the good track, of course headed…

20        BRR    Four group ones?

CIL       Yes, headed by Epson handicap, which is a terrific race as a lot of mile races our headquarters for all the huge way Panthers like to be value on whoever they take and there is great value on the Centrebet market raw hits of $4 favourite but …

25

            BRR    (inaudible) (00:02:26)

CIL       … a good price, it’s about a lot of a good horses going to this race.

For our listeners, we’ll going to have something on Muscat which is No. 8 in

30                    the race which is a three quarter Robert to the great Makybe Diva.

            BRR    Yes.

CIL       There has been some money for it at the bigger price but it’s sitting there now at $8 we can get on Centrebet at the moment.

35

BRR    $8, a number eight Muscat.

CIL       That sits in the Epson group on Epson each to a value at the $8 mark, is where we’re going to try our luck in the big one.

40        BRR    Yup, excellent, and they will get the Turnbull Stakes, the big one in Melbourne as well?

CIL       Yes, and the headline horse at the moment weekend half like goes around the game and trying to win yet another group one and pretty cramped prices, you can imagine, $1.75 at the moment, which is a pretty good value because

45                    it’s shorter elsewhere but we’ve got a very bankable at that price, sits the Temple of the feature at Flemington.  Look, I think for the Panthers’ side I should try a little Quinella because Weekend Hustlers is going to be terribly hard to beat.  But I suggest that Panthers have a little bit on the Quinella of No. 4, Weekend Hustler coupled up with No. 13, Littorio, which is the $12 chance in the race at the moment.

            BRR    Sure.

5          CIL       So have the Quinella 4 and 13…

            BRR    Yup.

CIL       … in the Turnbull Stakes which is right side at Flemington tomorrow and I think they’re very close.

10

            BRR    Excellent points, 13 Quinella.

            CIL       Hmm…

BRR    Great, and that you’ve done well in the last couple of weeks now?

15        CIL       Yes.  We’re going alright aren’t we?

            BRR    Yes, you sure are.

CIL       Better keep it going because, look when you get those small piece up there, someone will say how to crank but, gee, there are very good price at the end,

20                    obviously just the one big league game.  We’re going to concentrate on the margin and look, I think that’s pretty good value, that‘s sort of 5 to 2 price about the 1 to 12, I think it will be tight.  I think the big game players, the Storm will eventually break the match open, but …

25        BRR    Sure.

CIL       It is a great weekend of sport around the country.

BRR    It certainly is, and if people want some more information on live bet, themselves, what do they do?

30        CIL       Yeah, Centrebet.com, the place to go.  We’ve got a record number of markets on the NRL Grand Final, and of course, plenty of other action around the sporting fields, and also at the racing of course, we’ve got six prices on all the group one races around the country and even the future Panthers they like to look at the Melbourne Cup and Colefield Cox Plate, and the big races

35                    overseas in France, the US, Great Britain, there’s a feast of markets. Centrebet.com is the place to go.

BRR    Neil Evans, the Centrebet Media Chief and Political Analyst, thanks for your time and happy panting.

40        CIL       Yes, happy panting and let’s see for all the Boardroom listeners that we can keep that roll going.
