WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2008, 9:00 AM.

BRR    Today on Boardroom Radio, I’m speaking with the Managing Director of Mundo Minerals, Mr. John Langford, to find out a bit more about the face

10                    behind the firm.

John, thanks very much for your time.

MUN    It’s great to be here.

15        BRR    And John, could you start by telling us a bit about your professional background and how you came to be with Mundo Minerals?

MUN    Sure.  My background, I was formerly partnered with Deloitte around the corporate finance (inaudible) in Western Australian for around 12 to 15 years.  I left Deloitte 4 or 5 years ago looking for some other opportunities

20                    and after couple of years I’m looking after mine assets, I decided that I should start to get a bit serious.  I’ve been involved in the resources sector for 25 years advising public companies, and for the group of people we put together a number of assets based in South America raising serious capital and decided that we should establish a company that was an emerging gold

25                    production house.  An Echo Production House now at Mundo Minerals.

BRR    Fabulous.  Now, outside of the busy schedule that is working for Mundo Minerals, what is the typical week looked like for Mr John Langford?

MUN    Unfortunately, a typical week for me tends to revolve around airports.  I have

30                    operations in South America, so a journey takes about 35 to 36 hours to travel from Perth to South America each flight so if I’m spending 2 or 3 days in a weekend South America, at least one week has taken up sitting on the airplane watching a couple of movies.  When I’m back in Australia, I spend a (inaudible) time with family, lots of socialize to catch up with the people

35`                   who I don’t work with, and keeping contact because I guess one of the problems of being a busy person is you have to make an extra effort to make sure you’re keeping contact with your other networks.

BRR    Absolutely.  Now John, in your professional career, what’s been the best

40                    piece of advice that anyone has ever given you?

MUN    The best piece of advice, I’ve ever been given is to set a goal and stick to it, don’t try and achieve everything for everyone, and we’re very single focused at Mundo Minerals and try to create value for shareholders.  So, you don’t see that I’m involved in a lot of other corporate activity.  We’ve taken on the

45                    challenge of developing Mundo into a serious gold production house and that’s very much our focus.

BRR    Alright John, you mentioned that you don’t take on too much other corporate activity.  Do you sit on any other boards or are you member of any other professional affiliations?

MUN    The only other corporate activity I’m involved in, I’m the director of the

5                      company that owns the Diggers and Dealers Mining Company Forum, so that takes up a little bit of my time.  It’s a great opportunity to keep in contact with  (inaudible) in the resources sector and if your answer for this is a bit of fun, and just one those light relief things that we get involved in.

BRR    Yes absolutely.  Now John, if you were to think about a life beyond Mundo

10                    Minerals, do you have any aspirations or any goals beyond your life with a listed company?

MUN    I’ll tell you. The first thing we’ll do when we move on from Mundo Minerals is probably start of airplanes for a little while but now I like building companies, building projects, I’d suggest that after a short risk after Mundo Minerals we’ll

15                    look for another opportunity and get involved in business still.  It’s good fun and I guess as long as you’re having fun working you might as well get the challenge going.

BRR    Okay.  And just finally, for investors and interested people looking for an

20                    investment opportunity, could you put together a couple of points and a couple of reasons why you think Mundo Minerals is an attractive proposition?

MUN    Mundo Minerals, we think it’s an attractive proposition for a number of reasons but importantly we have an emerging cashflow so we’re not going to be relying on external sources of capital and we have a pipeline of assets that

25                    we believe have enormous potential and will provide a very solid and sustainable part of growth for the company.

BRR    Alright John.  Well, thank you very much for taking the time to speak with us this afternoon.

30        MUN    It was a pleasure.  Thank you.

BRR    That was the Managing Director of Mundo Minerals, Mr John Langford speaking to you on Boardroom Radio.
