WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2008, 9:30 AM.

BRR    Hello welcome to Boardroom Radio’s CEO profile. Today we’re joined by the Chief Executive Officer of Jupiter Mines, Mr Greg Durack.

10

                        Greg, thanks for your time.

JMS     Thanks for having a discussion with me today, Cameron. Please to meet you.

15        BRR    Greg, let’s begin with your journey to the Chief Executive Officer’s position please?

JMS     Ah yes, I’ve been in the mining industry over 25 years, decided to work as a metallurgist and gradually worked myself up through the ranks. I had spent 11 years with Normandy Mining in Newmont and got promoted through the

20                    system. When I left Newmont, we’re successful in getting a Chief Executive Officer as well in the company at the junior end of the market and I’d really do enjoy working at the junior end.

BRR    And Greg you’re a busy man.  What’s the typical working week look like for

25                    you?

JMS     Well it’s a pretty busy at the moment at the Jupiter, we’ve got a very small team with about three geologist, exploration manager headed up by Bill Guy, and we’ve quite a large exploration portfolio, so we’re managing all those tenements and we’ve actually got two drill programs happening at the

30                    moment in two different locations and manage between a team four. So we’re very busy and then of course, looking after all the corporate activities of the company as well, attending seminars, presenting at seminars, and seeing brokers. So it’s a very busy demanding role but a very enjoyable one nevertheless.

35

BRR    And Greg, I imagine you’ve had some great highlights throughout your career. What would you say would be the greatest highlight of all?

JMS     I think, getting promoted up into General Management position in the first instance with Normandy Mining, that was a great achievement, and being

40                    successful in that role, so that was a career highlight, career defining step.

BRR    Sure, and what’s the best piece of advice you’ve received so far?

JMS     Well, that’s a difficult one. I think we all received advice various times during our life. I think one of the things to do is treat people fairly, tell the truth, be

45                    honest, and enjoy your work, workout. I think it’s one of the things going forward is what I believe in.

BRR    And Greg, what do you do in your spare time? What are some of your hobbies or activities?

JMS     Well spare time, I’ve at got two young sons, the 11-year-old and 9-year-old. The oldest one races motocross, so that’s pretty demanding. The youngest one, he plays football. So, between the two of them, that case we’re pretty busy but I enjoy doing that.

5

BRR    And Greg, finally work life balances obviously pretty important to most people how do you fit your busy schedule in with the demands of your family?

JMS     Well, I make sure that during the day you get your work achieved that you need to get achieved and I certainly enjoy nights at home with the family and

10                    certainly on the weekends. At weekend activities, we’ve got a house gardening case. We’re pretty busy, but also I like working on engines and things like that. I have my son’s motocross engine of which I do the work on that. I have a number of motorcycles myself, I do motorcycle touring and I always do on a mechanical work, so I enjoy dose of activities. That’s a

15                    complete break from the rigors of workday. It’s something that you can totally switch off and enjoy your time off working on motorcycles.

BRR    Greg, we really appreciate your time today and getting to know a little bit more about you. Thanks again and we wish you well at your time at Jupiter

20                    Mines.

            JMS     Thanks very much, Cameron.

BRR    That’s been Greg Durack, the Chief Executive Officer of Jupiter Mines speaking to us on Boardroom Radio.
