John Murray
Chairman
John is co-founder and Chairman of BRR Media and has more than 25 years experience in the Securities Industry, both in Australia and the UK. John developed the original BRR Media concept through a desire to improve the immediacy and flow of information to all shareholders.
Bill Gair
Managing Director
Bill is a co-founder and Managing Director of BRR Media and is an e-commerce pioneer having co-founded one of the first commercial web sites in Australia in September 1997. Bill also has experience running a publicly listed company and he understands the challenges executives face in communicating to the market.
Cameron Young
Managing Director UK
Post completing his Bachelor in Business, majoring ni Finance, Cameron started his professional career in the financial markets where he spent 7 years working as a private client advisor. During this time, he also completed the Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment with the Securities Institute of Australia. Cameron began working with BRR Media in late 2005. In early 2012, Cameron transferred to London to expand BRR Media
Terence Bell
Executive Director
Terence is an Executive Director of BRR Media with more than 5 years experience in equity capital markets in both Australia and the UK. Terence has worked with HSBC in London as part of the Emerging Markets equity capital markets team and previous to this was at Merrill Lynch in Sydney for 4 years. Terence is a Commerce graduate of Bond University majoring in Finance and International Business.
James Marlay
Associate Director
James Marlay joined Boardroomradio in early 2008 and is responsible for creating, building and maintaining client relationships. James has an Undergraduate Degree in Communications and a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance. Prior to joining BRR James worked in the Equity Markets Division of Macquarie Group. James applies his understanding of equity markets and education in communications to deliver clear, effective and engaging online communications between listed companies and investors.
Tom McKay
Associate Director
Tom joined BRR in 2008 and is responsible for creating, building and managing relationships with our ASX listed clients. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University and is a FSA Registered (Securities) Representative in the UK. Tom worked in financial markets at Goldman Sachs and RBS in London before joining the team at BRR on his return to Sydney.
David Bushby
Head of Legal Broadcasting
David heads up Legal Broadcasting at BRR. Having apprenticed at Mallesons for 4 years before moving in house to Macquarie Bank for a further 2 years, David has worked and advised on the legal, corporate governance, tax and accounting issues on major transactions.
Kate Richie
Legal Broadcasting Executive
Kate is a Legal Broadcasting Executive responsible for building and maintaining client relationships with our legal clients. Kate has a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Law from UTS. Kate worked as a solicitor at Sparke Helmore before joining BRR Media.
Michael Killicoat
Business Development Manager
Michael is the Business Development Manager, responsible for financial services and other non-listed clients. Michael has a Bachelors of Finance and Economics from Adelaide University and has completed CFA level 1. Michael previously worked in the finance products division of Macquarie Bank.
Theo Fatseas
Head of Video Production & Development
Theo heads the BRR video team and has over 10 years experience as a video producer/director. Theo has a degree in Media Arts and Production from UTS and a Graduate Certificate in Documentary from AFTRS. He also worked as a photographer, designer and Account Manager in the Graphic Design and Printing industry for over eight years. Theo is passionate aboutproducing engaging content and sharing compelling stories.
Erik Stripparo
Video Production Executive
Erik is one of our Video Production Executives. Award winning producer, Erik has been on the front line of Internet media in Europe since 1997. Living and working in Berlin for 13 years, Erik quickly established himself as a pioneer of Internet Media, developing concepts and experimenting with the latest technology, before moving to Australia in 2010. Erik has spoken at various Tech functions such as CEBIT about the future of online entertainment and Web Society (Webciety). He is considered an expert in live broadcasting and format development. Erik speaks 4 languages fluently and is inspired and innovative in his approach to this field.
Andrew Jones
WA Manager
Andrew is the WA Manger in our Perth office and started with BRR in 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University majoring in Finance and has also completed his Diploma of Financial Services from Finsia. Andrew previously worked as an associate advisor at Hartleys Ltd before moving to BRR and is now currently in charge of our Perth based operations.
