Conducting a Broadcast

For help on how to conduct a broadcast, please contact us or call 1300 667 995

There are generally two types of connections you can make for your broadcast

  • simple telephone connection (either with a single user or on a conference phone)
  • microphone connection to a telephone line (Boardroom Radio can provide advice and assistance to set this up click here for more information)

In both cases you must ensure you have the correct telephone number. When you have made your conference booking Boardroom Radio will advice a unique telephone number for you to call to connect your Boardroom Radio broadcast. Call one of our customer representatives if you need to check this on 1300 667 995.

General Information on How to Broadcast

Boardroom Radio offers a simple “one to many” solution for all companies to broadcast live via the internet. This is based on receiving voice into our control centre via the telephone line. The environment at the presenters end can be one of the following.

  • A normal telephone handset with the presenter talking directly as if making a normal phone call
  • A mobile phone with the presenter talking directly as if making a normal phone call (sound quality can obviously vary depending on reception)
  • A hands free conference call telephone with one or more presenters within range of the telephone microphone
  • A microphone connected to a telephone line via portable remote mixer which Boardroom Radio can provide or is generally available in most professional venues
